Just of the phone to the dealer and also customer services who are both saying it is a known issue and I should continue to drive around with system fault displayed inbetween the dials until it clears itself.....I don't really know what to say other than wow.

I have 14 days plate tekna and had stop/start system failure also by with random parking sensor, and collision sensors activations. Told by dealer possible battery fault and was booked in. Before the car went in, it failed to start (flat battery). I called RAC and they confirmed faulty battery. The dealer had the car for the weekend and replaced battery under warranty. The car has been great since the new battery was fitted.

I'm currently having a pop on their Facebook page for what its worth
It's nice to know you are not the only one with the same problems. My car has been nothing but pain since we had it. As much as I love driving it and feels really comfortable, the issues we had with it and the constant battles with Nissan customer service, we would not be getting another one. I have experienced all of the above. My stop/start has not been working for the last 4-5 months, my parking sensors have mind of its own and in the last week I had the RAC out 3 times, as the battery is completely flat. But Nissan can not replace it, as according to their testing the battery is good, has good recharge... So when the customer service person asked me "Is this your first Nissan?, my answer was "And last..."

Fault now showing for 7 days so re-phoned the dealer, same response its the cold weather and there's nothing wrong with the car. After insisting they book it in I've been told to bring it in on the 28th and that it will take an hour to fix (so no need for a loaner). If there is nothing wrong, how do they know it takes an hour to fix....sounds a bit fishy to me......

Garage took the car off us today, cleared the fault and put it on charge for the day ....they said 75% on the battery is "normal" and it doesn't require swapped. They also said we need to take it for a good run to stop it "going low"....sounds not fit for purpose in that its either not charging correctly or the battery is knackered.

I have had the start/stop failure message when the car is in 'stopped' mode and had to restart it manually but not with the glow plug light.
I drive Gashqai by day and I work as a London seo specialist for local seo company by night
I have had all the same problems but Nissan Customer Service would not agree to replace the battery which would not hold charge for more than a couple off days. I changed the battery at my expense and I have had no further problems. Nissan Customer Service are not fit for purpose and are doing some serious damage to brand loyalty.

Car going in again on 25th but dealer & customer services warned me that they won't change battery unless diagnostics readout states duff battery . Which is why they didn't change last time. Maybe it's time for watchdog programme to hear about this Start/Stop battery problem!!
