Never had problems with closing the tailgate.Today the lock did not work when closing the tailgate.Only when really closing it with power it closes now. What can cause this? Does the lock need lubrication?
Without seeing it, hard to say.The Original QQ had issues with the "strike plate" alignment.It might be something as simple as that just need adjusting to get a better alignment.
Found the issue. The strike plate screws were loose.So I positioned the plate and secured the screws. Works fine again now. I assume as long as it closes fine the alignment of the plate is ok right?
