Steve, I have just had a look around here in Berlin and our local (probably the biggest in Germany) ATU & Reifendirekt.de do not even stock Nexen Tyres. But Conti's cost £167.
mytyres.co.uk quote Nexen's N FERA SU1 but 96W @ £102 & Reifen.com @ £100.

I bought off these guys (based in Germany) and found them to be good. Price is now £94 ...

We all seem to really on these Big Black Round Things called Tires to give us a comfortable ride, hold us on the road, stop us to name a few...... I was watching on German TV today how a Tire is manufactured and found this interesting and complex, I then found this video from “Continental” US which hopefully might be of interest to some – Dave ;)

Now on Nexen SU1's all around. Got them from tyre leader and fitted at a local shop. Worked out cheaper than ordering direct from the place I had them fitted!

As a matter of interest did you get them with the rim protectors?

Try and find someone who stocks a cheaper tyre. Nightmare. I am giving the car back in a few months so wont put too many miles on and I am going to have stick Contis on again at £180 a corner.

Sorry, just seen this.

I got these:

Which as I understand, do not come with the protection bar. However they matched my existing ones (being ZR's instead of just R's)
