Popping noise

Anyone aware of a momentary Popping noise from around steering column? Noticeable at slow speed or at pull off , a single Pop type noise which could be taken as a click maybe. Wondered if it was hydraulic somehow.. maybe power steering? The car has just come back from generator and lithium battery replacement so it’s been dismantled and almost rebuilt from the ground up. Maybe a loose connection? Any ideas welcome!!

Carl, is it definitely around the column, I hear a noise like a clunk/click or could be a pop coming from low down the footwell shortly after I take my foot off the brake pedal once Autohold has activated.
If it’s the same noise, do you keep your foot on the brake pedal till you pull off?
