I have a September 2020 Quashqai, which I have been very pleased with. I’ve recently started having problems with the front passenger door lock, with the passenger unable to open the door from the inside. It does not happen every time but most of the time.
Can anyone advise what the problem might be before I take it to my local garage?

I have a January 2020 J11b and had a similar problem late 2023, but totally unable to open the front passenger door from the inside (but fine from the outside).
The door actuator cable was replaced and it all works fine now. Not sure what the cost would be due to this being fixed under warranty by my local Nissan dealer.
