Just got this car recently, 2020, 14k miles, FSH from a Nissan dealer. I've noticed when pulling away at a very low speed for a second or two there is a slight judder I can feel on the gearbox, it quickly clears and only presents itself after I've stopped and pulled away again. I'm possibly a bit paranoid as I had a ford focus with a powershift many years ago that ended up needing a new clutch pack at my expense. I've got 2 year warranty on this car so could take it back, but given the judder is so minor, should I wait to see if the judder becomes more prevelent or just take it straight back? I would assume the Nissan workshop would know what to look for in terms of faults etc....

I didn’t experience this with mine, any chance it’s something very simple like the automatic handbrake disengaging ?
Apart from that, my only recommendation would be to find a local, reputable automatic gearbox specialist

No, it seems to be more when coming off the auto-hold thing though. It's still under 30 days with the dealer though, but wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this.

Does it still do the same thing if you drive with the Stop/Start turned off ?
People have reported odd things like a surge when the engine stops very briefly and restarts because the car hasn’t quite stopped

I have a judder when I pull away. The only way I seem to overcome it is with some careful clutch control also if I take the rpm over 2000 it seems to stop it. It’s not a major problem but it’s annoying.

So took the car back into another Nissan dealer to have it checked, they again couldn't find any fault but I managed to get the mechanic to come in the car with me to show him the problem. Fortunately the garage has lots of slopes in the car park, so was able to show him when trying to accelerate up a hill very gently the whole car starts jerking. He said that it was more akin to when a car is about to stall, like on a manual if you are in 1st gear but not giving it enough power or too much clutch. He was a bit stumpted by it, so I suggested he tries another similar age QQ to see if it does the same thing. I think the biggest problem is that they are not auto-gearbox specialists, so all they can do is replace a gearbox or clutch etc which they are not keen on doing without knowing the issue. To me it doesn't seem right, and I test drove another QQ when I bought it that did not do this, so I am thinking my only option is to take it to an auto-specialist for them to diagnose it and then I can present that report to Nissan. Anyone else have any ideas?

Mine does this a little, but only hen reversing up hill, on a cold engine / box.

I think at first I noticed it going forward, but have adjusted my driving style and now it's fine.

Did you ever get it checked? It seems the only solution is to give it a lot of power when accelerating initially, but you obviously can't do that when in traffic going up a hill etc!

Independent garage said they were 'a bit like that' ! I'll never go to my dealer again if I can avoid it.
