I am unable to fold the single rear seat of my Qashqai +2. If I use the handle indicated on the picture the seat will drop forward a small amount but I am unable to fold it flat.
I can slide the seat forward with no issue and the top catch will allow the seat to lean forward and slide.
Can anyone tell me how to remove and possibly get into the seat mechanism to fix it.
+2 Single Rear Seat will not fold flat.

Are you following the correct procedure - holding the lever as required:
2. Release the seatback lock by pulling the lever up. The lever must be held up until the seatback is folded past the vertical position. If the lever is released early the seat will go into Easy entry mode, see “Easy entry to the 3rd row (7-seater)” later in this section.
