The electric drivers seat in my J11 Tekna no longer moves forward or backwards. (height adjustment and tilt work).

I had an auto electrician confirm he believes the motor has burned out. My issue is, to repair the motor, we need to remove the seat, however it is currently stuck in a position that obstructs access to the mounting bolts.

Does anyone know if there is a way to manually move the seat forward or backwards without the motor?

Alternatively, can the seat be removed another way, that doesn’t involve cutting it out?

Many thanks for reading.

Have you checked 1st that your able to get yourself another motor before you take the seat out. Also did you check the connector to make sure it hadn't come loose

Yes, I have a replacement seat ordered (recycled) with a working motor.

All connections were checked by the auto electrician who tested and confirmed the motor isn’t working.

Any suggestions on how to remove the seat?

The bolts are covered/obstructed by the seat.
