Mechanic recommendation

Hi. Anticipating my 2016 Qashqai arriving next week and looking for a reliable and competent mechanic to look after the QQ in the coming years - any recommendations in the Windsor/Berkshire/West London areas?

Prefer a Nissan and QQ specialist if possible.

As a secondary question, what maintenance is required over and above the minor / major annual service intervals?

Only things I can think of is timing belt or chain replacement (not sure which it has) and the interval, gearbox fluid change. Anything else?

The 1.6 diesel engine has a chain and this is alleged to be maintenance free.
Gearbox oil change - one for someone else who is more mechanically competent than me.

depending on how many miles your gonna do in your new car oil, oil-filter every 6months (easy to do yourself if your able to) air-filter, pollen filter every year.
gearbox oil (most people don`t bother changeing this but no harm in doing it when ever your ready.)
fuel filter replace every few years.
and that lot should keep the car running nice

You refer to gearbox fluid, is it an auto box? If it is, change the gearbox oil every 50k miles.
