Qashqai Model: Mk.3 Qashqai - J12 (2021+) New Model

Hi folks, As a new member having just collected my qashqai tekna j12 in storm white /black top, up graded from a juke tekna, got two questions to ask. Although very impressed with the quashqai didn't realise it didn't come with front fogs which looks better and would partially fill all that plastic. Although I know front fogs aren't vital and greatly used for £36,000 surely they should be part of the spec as the tekna+. Secondly, the uk resignation sign on number plates, is this done at the time of the vehicle registration ? Cheers, Mark. :o

Hello, I get my Tekna next week and yes it's very odd they are not included and even more ridiculous considering the price of the car, not sure how much they cost to add but I know Nissan can do it.

If I remember correctly only one member on here has had this done by Nissan.
If my memory is correct (and sincere apologies if I am wrong) the member lives in the Netherlands (again, sorry if that’s wrong).
Definitely quoted the cost in Euros rather than sterling.
And it wasn’t cheap

Hi, my N-Connecta doesn't have fog lights either.
The dealer had informed me about it and asked if I wanted to have them installed at an additional cost.

Since I have full LED headlights, I preferred not to get them, also because on my previous car, a SKODA ROOMSTER, I had them but only used them to compensate for the low brightness of the halogen headlights.

Fortunately, where I live (Northern Italy near Milan), we don't have heavy fog like we used to when I was younger (thirty years ago). The climate has changed completely, and fog is really sporadic now.

Welcome to this forum.

I've had front fogs on various recent cars but none of them has improved vision in difficult conditions.

In the UK you're not allowed to drive on fogs only - you have to have headlights on as well. Seems to defeat the main reason for having fogs in the first place!

The car I have on order doesn't even have provision for them.
