Broken Rear Spring

Had the car serviced yesterday and a phone call that I had a broken rear spring, both replaced. Is this a common fault with QQ's? I have heard of front springs braking, but not rears.
Past cars Mercedes B Class, S Class, E Class Estate, E Class Coupe, G Wagen, 260E interspersed with Peugeot 406 and Audi Coupe.

It can happen to any car its the state of the rds potholes ☹️
Think the rear are easier to replace than the front
