I have a 2015 1.5 DCi Tekna with the Factory TPS System.

I am getting my wheels refurbished so need to know are the TPS Sensors specific to each wheel (corner of the car) or are they all identical ?

Answers appreciated as ever !

Thank you

Hi, going off my own experience, if the sensors are nissan ones, the wheels can be changed around, the dashboard readings will initially be wrong but after a day using the car the sensor readings will sort themselves out.
My experience , I had a buckled wheel, and fitted another qashqai wheel with genuine nissan sensor. Initially the dashboard showed blank, but after I ran around a bit it picked the reading up ok.
If your getting the wheels refurbished why not renew all the sensors for cloned ones then you know there all new.

When Costco changed my wheels front to back cause its their policy when buying 2
The Tpms were reading front to back.
Had to go back for them to plug in their gadget to re assign them to correct position.
Now reading fine.

Appreciate what Peter saying, but if you just fit your wheels on after refurbishment, try a calibration reset of the tpms on the dashboard, then check the reading again after a run . Might save you some hassle.

Thank you for all replies.

Is the calibration reset detailed in the owners handbook ?

Thank you.

I haven't looked but if you go to the tpms options it's just a tick box to calibrate. Probably will be in the book.

I am also having issue with TPMS with driver side rear tyre.

The TPMS sensor come on, and when it does, the dashboard doesn't give reading for driver side rear tyre. The dashboard light flashes for few minutes and then it remains on. But if I stop the car and start again after a while, the light seem to go away, and the dashboard shows readings for all sensors correctly.

I have looked on Google and apparently it could be the sensor battery has drained.

I read that battery could be replaced as well?
