J11 2015 Interior Upgrade to 2018 Facelift

Hi all,

New to owning a QQ, and to the forum, I have searched for an answer but can’t find a thread (doesn’t mean I haven’t missed it..)

I have a 2015 Tekna and need to replace the front two seats, I am finding it easier to source seats for a 2018 Tekna.

Am I right in assuming they will bolt in / out so to speak as bad facelifting the car, the only difference is the slight change to the seat shape?

I wouldn't think that Nissan would change the seat base/securing bolts etc when doing mostly a refresh from A to B J11.
The electrics for the seats, if they are electrically adjusted may be a problem if they have redesigned the connections/wiring etc.
Without having a seat and frame to hand I think it best to contact your local Nissan Dealership and speak to the parts Manager.

Not sure how helpful Nissan will be with something like this? Ideally need to see both sets of connectors to check

Needless to say not a question we've had before.

Both a 2015 Tekna and a 2018 Tekna had an electrically adjustable drivers seat only, but the covering on the later one is "part leather/part cloth" not the full leather of the earlier one.

Both a 2015 Tekna and a 2018 Tekna have heated front seats so no differences there.

I don't know the side airbag situation.

Checking on eBay, scrappers are often suggesting 2014-2021 as the compatibility range.

Thanks bud, I didn’t realise the newer didn’t come in full leather, which would then mean changing the front and rear! I’ve emailed these guys, hopefully they can help!

The Tekna+ has full leather but they're a different design.
