You may find it cheaper to buy a 2nd hand whole rear light unit from scrapyard/ebay ;)

Hi everyone,

Just an update regarding the same issue.

Today, I swapped the LED circuit from the passenger side (which is not working when opening the side light but it works when braking) with the one on the driver's side. I found the LED circuit is working as it should. So I believe there is something wrong with the wires or something else.

Does anyone know where I should check in order to fix this? Is there any relation if the front side light is not working for the passenger side?

Your help is much appreciated.

Many thanks,

Thank you again for your response.

The passenger side front side light bulb is not working at the moment. Do you think this is the issue?

Sorry to hijack the thread but ive a similar issue. Replaced rear drivers side light unit so theres a new led board in it. Problem is its not as bright as the opposite one, the pasengers side. So i had to keep the inner bulb holder from old unit and the indicator bulb flashes yellow in colour instead of orange. So dunno is it a faulty bulb holder or is the new unit faulty. As i said passenger side is brighter
