Hello.
I have a 2009 +2 as a run around car, got it cheap as it didn't have any paperwork and the previous owners did the bare minimum to it to keep it going . I have had the turbo replaced, but my mechanic said the engine has been changed at some point. It is a nissan (renault) engine but it doesn't correspond to the model of car. He sent it back twice and got the same answer. There are 2 exhaust sensors on this engine, but only 1 on the turbo. So I am left with an engine management light on as the 2nd sensor which I believe goes after the dpf has been tied to a hose in the engine bay. Is there a way to remove this sensor from the ecu or can I somehow splice it into the one that is connected if they are for detecting the same temp obviously. Thanks very much for any help.

You could drill the exhaust and put a thread insert for the second sensor or as you mention wire it to the first sensor in parallel.
