I don't know what model you have but that's in the manual for the AWD version to swap front <> rear :)

Yes, tyres are heavily automated, but there will be very sight differences in weight of materials, composition of materials or tooling wear. Its possible you may have a tyre manufactured when the tooling is almost worn out, but still within design tolerance. The tyre is built to be fit for purpose as a cost in a world where nothing is perfect. Your always going to have variance.

I just trying to get across that there are still many variables that can change over time in a fully automated process, and this will make each component unique.

To compare, look at Car manufacturing. They are built on a very precise production lines but there are still people who get a lemon or the friday afternoon car. This can apply to just about most manufactured goods.

It's fairly well automated these days https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1o9mVZxoayA

F1 tyres may well be more manually made given the low volume made compared to car tyres :?:

I got a pair of these fitted - £50 more each if purchased in-store

Mines getting a 2nd service today, have asked the dealer to look at it and asked for a steering angle reset. There's something not right, the 10 year old jazz loan car keeps a straighter line. Next option if they say its OK is to swap tyres to rear.

I have the Michelin Primacy 3 on my Mini Coupe, great grip in the wet & dry, also very quiet but i've found mine wear faster than I the original run flats. I dont think you could go far wrong with these.

What is going on????? surely it cannot be a tyre issue?? my car was never this bad before the tires were pretty new when i bought the car , so the car steering will only go in a straight line with a particular brand tyre?? thats just crazy Nissan.
There surely has to be some explanation from Nissan. My car is still bad its going in for few days to be looked at if they come up with changing tires before the new ones on it have worn out then i won't be happy its just ludicrous.

It could be a balancing thing though Rod as they would defiantly would have balanced the new tires, what type Michelin is it you have fitted???

Im getting very confused now... Tires, steering racks, angle steering sensors :?
Confused too.

Well they couldnt see anything 'physically' wrong did a steering reset and so far so goo, track straight and seems a lot safer.
