I just checked the tyre pressure display 3 weeks after receiving my new Tekna. I know I should have checked when I got it but I stupidly assumed they would be right. The front tyres were 45 & 44 instead of 33, and one of the rear tyres was 44 instead of 30. I have dropped them down to correct pressures and the display is reading the new pressures fine. Don't assume your pressures are correct on a new car.

Same here in New Zealand. The dealer outsources the vehicle for wheel alignment checks and they generally over inflate the tyres when doing that work. Obviously the dealer then elects not to recheck the pressures.

I don't think dealers do wheel alignment checks any longer at pre-delivery inspection. In my experience they never did. Today's factory alignment is generally very much more accurate than it used to be.

Pressures are high from the factory and sometimes spacers are used to lock the suspension in order to prevent movement during transport.

Same here as George. I received my car last week and yesterday I checked the pressure.
Front: 39 and 40
Rear: 40 and 39

Don't know why the dealers are so careless in this matter.

Just had slow puncture repaired (and thanks to this forum for pointing in right price range - cost £21 from Kwik fit). Afterwards I checked the pressures and had to inflate all of them (thanks Kwik Fit ). When I looked at the TPMS measures they were all out - 32/33 and 30/29. Do these small differences matter? Do others get obsessive about exact measures and use their own inflator? Or is there a technique of using air machines that gets tyres to exact pressure?

That's ridiculous................................a letter to the dealer principle is required.

50psi in all four tyres when I picked mine up after the "pdi"
This is just basic stuff a pdi should pick up on, especially as it's safety related.
Not good enough Nissan, sort it out.
