Great choice of tyre. I had those on my dearly departed XC60 & faultless! Ended up running them year round.
2015 Qashqai 1.6 2wd Dci Tekna Ink Blue with Pano roof...otherwise it's standard spec, so lots of scope for additions.

So whilst I was waiting for the wheels I bought some TPMS sensors. I ended up buying genuine from Nissan for approx. 41 pounds each including the nut, as I couldn't really find any others cheap enough to warrant not using genuine.

And the wheels arrived today, a different size to what I was expecting :|

I ordered 7x17 ET40, but got 8x17 ET45. It shouldn't be a problem but I will mount one on the car tomorrow to check before the tyres are fitted.

Here's a couple of pics of the wheels, Momo Revenge matt black.

Chris, a nice choice of the Momo Revenge Matt Black Wheels something I have been thinking about for some time to replace our "Steelies" on our White QQ. Your Tyre choice looks OK for both the 17" or 18" Wheel according to the Momo data sheet so it is just the 8" Wide Wheel that needs checking. Let us know how it goes with naturally some pics - Dave :)

Dave - black wheels on your white QQ would be a nice contrast :)

So I mounted 1 of the rears and the only problem could be that the tyre will rub the sound dampening mat around the top of the arch, as the mat doesn't sit tight to the bodywork. If needed I guess I can just glue it to the metal giving an extra 1 cm or so clearance.

Due to the width of the wheel and the offset, it will sit 17.7mm further in, and stick out an extra 7mm.

Here's a couple of pics for you Dave ;)

Chris, the Wheel is looking good. Just a couple of points, have you checked if when the Tyre is fitted that this does not stick out past the original line of the QQ. In some countries that is a NoNo with the Authorities, better to be safe than sorry, a Fine / Ticket I mean - Dave :)

Take a look at this it might raise a few questions :

To overcome the problem with the Wheel Arch it might be worth looking at some Spacers to bring the Wheel out and away from the rubbing problem, but then again these ones are 32mm (expensive) and may well also protrude also :

Thanks for the input Dave, wheel spacers, apparently, are illegal to use in Denmark.

Anyway, I had the tyres fitted and popped them on the car, there is a lot more clearance than I thought.

After I fitted the wheels I tested the front with the steering on full lock and there is no rubbing at all.

I left the car running on the driveway while i adjusted the tyre pressures and fitted the center caps so in all it was idling for around 20 minutes, then I took it for a drive.

At first the TPMS wasn't happy but after a few km the sensors were recognised and all was fine. It seems buying genuine Nissan sensors paid off as I don't need to take the car in to get the TPMS coded :D

It was getting dark and the car was a bit dirty but I took some pics anyway.
