It is advised in the Nissan handbook that the bulb for the front fog lights are a H8 bulb and if it requires replacement then to take it to a Nissan Dealer. The reason for having to take it back to the dealer is because there is no 'easy' access to the back of the fog light and a Nissan dealer has advised one of our forum members that its a bumper off job and the wiring can be easily damaged.

SplanK, it does not require bumper off, only engine cover to be removed. However, access is a bit tricky, that's a fact.

Interesting to see what Nissan would charge for changing this bulb, on my previous Skoda Yeti dealers quoted £300 plus VAT to remove front end parts to do the job....Frightening

Am I missing something? If a part is loose shouldnt it be straight back to dealers to check and maybe watch what the fitter does to find out?Trying to sort things out might leave you a broken something or worse surely as warranty then goes out window if your seen tampering even if done with good intentions they can imply a later problem was caused by interfering

Duncho, can you upload image/schematic as an attachment, as posted on other forum.Quality of that reduced because of file size restriction.

uploads/770/2222.PNGuploads/770/3333.PNGI noticed more benevolent file size restrictions on this forum, so here are also regular photos:

To me it works, but nevertheless you have it as a photo, so no file is necessary. Or am I wrong? Here again full file address:http://www.qashqaiownersclub.co.uk/foru ... 0/3333.PNG
