Hi all

Im pretty much done with our ongoing DPF issues!!

Ive gone and got a Autel tablet type device to see whats going on with our DPF - its an expensive one and a nice piece of kit - I do suspect something is dodgy on the ODB connector as it just wont read the VIN number at all

So I think that connector is faulty as I have to wiggle it a bit for it to read codes and stuff - anyway managed to get the soot accumulation and it was at something like 61.5gramms I think it said

I have managed to do a regen through the autel kit but I dont think temps went anywhere much above 200 degrees

I thought 600 dregrees was the reading we should be getting - I cant remember the wording its said temperature before turbine or something along those lines
We have taken the car at high revs on motorway for a good 2hr drive - still not clearing

Looks like we still have codes P2002 and P1525 (I think this one is new)

Is it time to scrap the car as this could be costly to fix

Thanks for any advice
