Engine management light red come on

Hi,

I have got a Nissan Qashqai 2012 plate, I have now a red engine management light come on, I have 2 fault codes showing which are P253F & P0380.

P253f is showing engine oil deteriorating and p0380 is showing an issue with glow plugs.

Which is the more likely code to show the red engine management light?

Oil and filter change then new glow plugs as there gonna be over 10yrs in the car if you have never replaced them 😉

The glow plugs have been done previously but I’m wondering which code whether it’ll be the glow plugs or oil quality chucking the red eml light. Cheers!

Oil change next the and see what happens when you delete the codes after
