Hello folks. I have a j11 2014 Quashia and a rear spring has snapped. I was wondering how hard they are to change and would i need spring compressor or do the pop out once the suspension strut is unbolted

Hi, here's a pic from the haynes manual, you don't need a spring compressor.

There are ways around it but if you're not experienced at this type of repair I would suggest a garage, also when I was taught I was always taught you change them as an axle set because your car will not sit correctly if you do just 1.

It's a simple enough job but if you aren't experienced in doing it then there are some dangers and so I would advise you taking it in or having a mobile mechanic do it for you.

Good luck.
