Hello! I have a 2019 nissan qashqai equipped with the DCT 1.3 DIG-T 160hp engine. It struggles to move the wheels. By that I mean it can't go over little bumps or move without some acceleration (2000 rpm and up). Could this be because it has little torque? Would stage 1 fix this problem? It's annoying. Wheels slip at almost any intersection as you accelerate more because the car doesn't move then all the torque accumulated goes to the wheels and they slip, it is not comfortable at all. In the winter you can get stuck very easily just because it can't go over small snow piles.

Can't say mine has exhibited any of these issues.

Have you checked the air filter?

It is okay. The engine has power, the problem is when the car starts moving, its like it doesn't have enough torque and you need to wait for it to build up in the axles in order to move the front wheels, after you get it moving its pretty powerful and responsive. This "waiting time" gets shorter after the engine has warmed up

.
me neither but I only did approximately 30,000 miles (from new) so it could be age related
The engine/gearbox combination had lots of "get up and go"

I would agree with anyone who thinks that the gearing ratios for 1st gear are truly awful though.

Mine has 103k km = 64.000 miles. I was thinking that the gear ratio is bad and 1st gear is like a 2nd gear in other cars. Maybe with stage 1 which gets the hp to around 200 and torque to 300 almost 400 it should have enough torque for 1st gear

I think it's the turbocharger that is slow , i had j12 for few months. The Eco mode avoids this unpleasant sensation

It wouldve been nice if it would save and not reset every time you restart the engine
