Hi new member here.. I drive the 1.3 DiG-T 160 N-Connecta. I'm noticing the mpg on the trip meter seems off. I reset it every fill but can barely get it over 31mpg. I got it to 45mpg once when I reset it while I was actually driving, since then it's usually very low and barely moves. I get about 370 miles out of the tank before I fill up and there's usually around 70 miles left according to the dash. I drive a mix of slow roads and motorway so thought I'd be getting more economy. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Petrol and if car is an automatic your never reallly gonna get good mpg. Motorway way driveing daily will see an improvement. But just going around town you won't.

My QQ ePower is 3 months old and I am achieving a minimum of 55 mpg. On a 200 mile trip recently, with a mix of driving I achieved 63 mpg. No complaints from me.

Lee71,

I have the exact same car as you. My overall fuel consumption (trip not reset for 2000 miles) 42 mpg. Depending on road conditions my single run figure can be anywhere between 35 and 60 mpg. Motorway driving, town driving, hilly driving can make a vast difference.
So can your driving style.

I've never had 60 mpg not even close. I did over 100 mile round trip today on the motorway and only achieved 49.1 mpg with the speed limiter set to about 68

I had a 2019 160bhp DCT Tekna
I don’t have the figures to hand but I recall my best mpg figures on a long careful run would be mid 50s mpg. Mid 40s was the norm on A road & motorway commuting

I usually do short local journeys, not more than 10 minutes. The car usually gives anything between 34-36mpg, however on motorways I have got 54mpg as well. There are a lot of factors while calculating mog, how hard you press accelerator, where you are driving, cold/hot engine etc. I reckon as long as you get 34mpg locally and anything above 45 on motorways should be good. Of course the newer cars may give higher mileage
