New Qashqai warped dashboard

Hi,
Has anyone else's new Qashqai suffered heat damage during this summer? The housing for the heads up projector expanded during the June heatwave and is now warped and not level with the rest of the dashboard. It's only cosmetic but not what you want from a new car. Looks cheap and nasty. I'm asking them to replace it but they want to inspect it first (fair enough) but have said they've never seen this fault before. Any others had a similar experience?

Mine "popped out" during cleaning, just needed a decent press to reseat it
