I have a handbrake fault where the handbrake is only coming off occasionally, there's no switch problem and the voltage in the battery is fine it's becoming a problem as it's a driving school car

I assume you have a J12?
When you say "only coming off occasionally" you mean when you use the switch, or when you depress the gas pedal, or both? What is the status of the handbrake indication lights on the switch and on the dash?
