Recommended Fuel Additives?

Hi,

My issue is that my car starts to judder as it accelerates through 2000rpm. The garage has said there is a diagnostic code P0202-12 (injector 2). He has suggested that rather than replace the injector, I try a fuel additive to see if it flushes out any blockage. He also said he is normally 'very-anti- using fuel additives, but in this case it might work. He has recommended I ask on a forum if anyone has tried this before with success and if so what fuel additive was used.

I can’t answer your question because I’m completely non-mechanically minded but I think it would help the next forum member to read your post if you can tell us which engine you have in your car

I literally have just used a fuel additive to clear dpf and egr valve and after a day and a few runs the fault codes have cleared. I would say try it what's the worse that can happen!

plenty too choose from redex, stp, carlube. it just depends how much you want to pay. shop around to get the best deal
