My nissan qashqai automatic 1.6 Xtronic 2015 came up with this diagnostic from.both the AA recovery mechanic and an independent garage .Please advise where can I get it repaired? THANKS

I'm not sure what answer you're expecting. Particularly since you don't give a location.

The simple answer is "a garage".

I presume your "independent garage" doesn't know how to repair it so you either need a Nissan dealer or an independent that knows about Nissans.

If you trust your existing garage you could refer them to the service manual - sources:

Just been to Nissan dealership charged £120 for health check and diagnoatics
Then told me its a gear box problem will cost 9k to fix it. I bought the car for 10k .Does that makr any sense .
Also called the link you suggested explaing the odb fault codes they also told me its 3k and half with vat.
Im confused dont know what to do?
Sny suggestions of anyone that has had same problems?

There are known issues with the Nissan CVT box - and my reading of the service manual suggested a new gearbox, but I didn't like to mention that.

Someone else is going through the same issue on here presently trying to fit a secondhand one.
