Hi Gel, that product you have mentioned must be OK if it has the TÜV Approval as this is like an acceptance for safety. Here only products with the TÜV Approval can be installed on vehicles and the paperwork has to be kept in the vehicle for the police or when the car is tested TÜV (MOT'ed) - Dave ;)

It maybe "safe" to use, but does it actually do anything!?

Most of these are 'snake oil in a can' and more often than not, don't do a huge amount, or only increase the efficiency of what they are suggesting it does by a small amount.

The other thing to think about, business logic....

If this stuff REALLY worked, then why not simply licence the technology to be added to the derv at the fuel pump rather than as an additive? In addition, all garages like to push things that they claim work, so why is it that Nissan don't try pushing stuff like this to their customers that come In with DPF issues?
