Hi all,

Can I ask what kind of fuel economy your getting? My best is 69.6mpg on motorway. Normally 50mpg urban

Cheers

41 to 42mpg urban and mixed urban/A roads, best on motorway with cruise on at 69mph was 46 one way and 42 return. Dealer is having it in on the 21st, took 4 weeks to get an appointment for them to even look at it.

Ah, that's not good. Sorry to hear that. Glad your taking it in. Think I got nearly 650 miles on a tank. I am hoping mine is normal

I've got just over 1,000 miles on the clock. Lifetime average is showing 49.6 mpg and it's risen steadily since day 1. The 'best' report on the motorway I've got is 68.9 but that's just a 'snapshot' from the on board system so not very accurate. I think that, as others have said, you need to use something like the 'Fuelly app' to get a more accurate reading.Just remember that Nissan say that the 1.5dci isn't 'bedded in' until 3,000 miles, so I'm reserving judgement until then.

I did a 279 mile trip to heathrow and back. Filled tank before I went and filled tank when I got back. I averaged 55.4mpg. I did mainly 65mph using cruise control all the way. The car said I averaged 59.9 mpg so not far out.

As I've not done a 'fuelly' check..going to start from next fill up.... I can't give an accurate figure. Based on my last two 'top ups' and checking the mileage done between, a tank range of 600 - 640 doesn't seem an unreasonable goal. I've only done the one long motorway trip and the rest has been urban. The normal daily journey is a 6 mile trip through a fairly congested city centre with a lot of stop / start and anything over 45 mpg is impressive for me.

I wouldn't. as the Yanks say, 'bet the farm ' on it. It appears to be reasonably accurate, at least to within 10% or so, but I guess I'm a bit old fashioned and tend to err on the side of caution. It's not too long ago I was still carrying a fuel can of derv in the boot 'cos I didn't trust the fuel gauge

I have left the miles left run down to about 16 miles. good enough for me.The fill up warning starts with around 70 miles left.
