Im thinking there are parts of the bodywork on my QQ that need some sort of protection from scratching and scuffs on door sills and rear bumper etc. Wondered what others have recommended and if this on ebay is any good?

Hi jeffers, just to give you some ideas on what we have installed on our QQ. These parts were Nissan Parts, cost a bit but generally worthwhile as these were installed from new in Aug 14 when the "Add On" market did not exist as now. As you quite rightly mentioned there is a load of stuff now on the websites a lot from the PRC, but the price is OK as well as the Quality. There are Aluminium / St.Stl. / Folie all available at different costs. You really have to take a look around and make your own personal decision as everybody has different ideas.
Just for example this is what we installed although the Door Kick Plates are illuminated. I would also recommend a Rubber Cover or Mat to hang over the Rear Valance when loading as it can get scratched when loading the weekly shopping - Take a Look Hope this Helps Dave

I have used stuff bought from ebay on my QQ that is used for protecting the leading edge of aircraft wings & helicopter blades. Cant remember the name as there are so many companies selling it. Its cheap and transparent and u can use a heat gun to mould it on complex curves.

A quick google search . https://www.google.co.uk/#q=protecting%20film

I needed this stuff because after only 6000 miles I started to get scuffs on the door sills and boot lip / bumper.
