The first owner of my car managed to put quite an unsightly scrape into the plastic trim at the bottom of the front door (I think ) on the nearside - are these trims expensive, and how easy to fit them?
Also, how best to completely remove any polish residue, as almost all trims seem to have been blessed with the white stuff

I was using that until winter arrived, and it does a good job of masking the polish that has gone over, but I haven't had a chance to use it recently. I might try the old peanut butter trick when the weather improves, and then follow up with the Auto Glym.
