Roof Rail marks puzzling

Visited dealer today and said he'd not come across before.Helpfully he noticed on 2 more of the roof rack end caps, as the sun was shining on them. He's sending snaps to Nissan & will update you.Don't come out too well on smart phone camera:suggest others keep a close eye on theirs too. Mine delivered May 2014.

I too have the same problem on my 10month old tekna. The scratches are on the end caps only.

I'm assuming there must be other owners too; mine have only become apparent in last week, so is strange:I must assume the only unmarked one will soon join other 3. Bad preparation perhaps before they coated, but has taken 11 months to materialise.

Await dealer to get back to me Dave, after they consulted Nissan Technical (they sent pics) ; presumably a few other forum members will notice too under close inspection...and advise their dealer too.

Yes, just found these marks on our car but will leave it until the first service in 6 weeks time.

Mine getting it too. Coming up to a year old. All four ends are doing it.
