Yours must be the worst case we've seen to date. Get on to your dealer and get them to replace them. Keeping an eye on mine for now...a little crazing but not bad enough to warrant going back to the dealer. Does the J11 have different styles of roof rails depending on model? Those pictured look nothing like mine.......................

switchback, as far as I know there is no difference on the J11 models. The photo is just a very large enlargement of just one End Cap. If you look at the Post Page 1 or other photos you will see the exact same End Cap. Ours replacement rails (complete) incidently are still looking OK - Dave

So I washed the car today.... firs time in 6 months (sorry car but had other priorities!)
My marks are coming back, not even a year after getting them swapped.
Oh well, another thing to add to the list of things my dealer needs to sort out at service.

Yep seems that way.... I didn't inspect too closely but noticed a small tell tale signs. Will see if I remember on the way out of the office today to re-check them.

Seems the ones they've installed as replacements have same fundamental flaw as originals/ spec wasn't altered.
