Mine have started to go as well now (09/15 car)
2015 1.6 dci Tekna, AWD.
Tekna 1.6 cvt 30th April 2014
I too have noticed roof rails ends have started to deteriorate on the ends. Don't really want to take it in to my local dealer as I had a fall out with them over the parking sensors alarming when nowhere near anything, poor m.p.g, stop/start system failure (in the end they installed new battery for this).
With sensors, they stated that if you have a dirty front or rear camera lens this will start sensors off. Sensors still alarm for no reason even when clean lens but never alarm when I mask them over with tape.
Yet another fault on the allegedly most popular cross over in UK.

You could get done at any Nissan dealer under warranty. As they don't now insist on replacing both roof rails as well, swapping over the end caps should take a few minutes.
Check they have them available before you visit.

Mine was six months but have only put the car in today as i needed the tailgate realigned and this was the first date the dealer could fit my car in the body shop.
I have been given a Juke as courtesy car, i was thinking about getting one before i got the QQ. Thank god i chose the QQ, the Juke is way too small. The only good thing about it is for a diesel it goes like the proverbial off a shovel.

In case they find "nothing wrong" with the seat - I found that with my seat moved back, the base of the seat belt knocked against the plastic shroud of the seat base. I bought some of those furry seat belt pads and made an insulating sleeve. The passenger's seat has a completely different mount so doesn't knock against the seat base. Might be worth a look in your case?rod9669 wrote:I'm in the dealer now having mine changed, along with looking for a possible oil leak and a clunk from the drivers seat when turning. Anyone know of a tech bulletin about the roof rail caps? Mine went at 8 months old and less than 4k miles (07/15 car). It's always helpful to have paperwork to show that you know more than they do!

Well you have had more luck than me. Dealer has had my car for a day only for me to be told that they have taken photos and the car will have to go back in at a later date ?rod9669 wrote:I'm in the dealer now having mine changed, along with looking for a possible oil leak and a clunk from the drivers seat when turning.
