With there being so many things that we can stick on our cars I'm surprised that no one seems to have made a hash of at least one thing or worse the battery ceases to work and it's time for a new one - how do you properly remove something that is stuck down firmly with 3M tape?
Tekna CVT 1.6 Magnetic Red - born 4/4/14 P/X 25/10/2015 for £19k with 12,000 on the clock - great car but time to change. No problems whatsoever in those 18 month's.

A little lever and possibly a knife. The residue might come away with careful use of acetone nail varnish remover.

And warming object with hairdryer, helps soften adhesive too.I'd suggest using dental floss rather than metal tool to get behind the adhesive pad.

Fishing line - genius. I'll remember that just in case.
