If this has already been covered, I apologise.
I had to change two H7 halogen headlight bulbs on my QQ in the last few days, and having done many before on many vehicles thought it would be a doddle. After ten minutes of scraped knuckles, I retreated to the net to find consolation and advice.
The key is to use a 24mm. socket. Check the two wires are not in the way and press lightly onto the bulb holder. It is easy then to achieve the anticlockwise turn necessary to remove the bulb holder and pry out the bulb.
Remember to use tissue to avoid touching the glass of the new bulb.
(Thanks to a Youtube video in German with some subtitles which reveals the 24mm. socket trick )

Thanks Thrall. I've changed the H11 dip bulbs but never ventured towards the H7 high beams - they do look rather awkward to access! Now at least I'm forewarned and forearmed.

Hound, I hope you never have to!
We (lesser) J10 owners have many of us, H7 dip beams. My warranty ran out in mid February, and within ten days, both dip bulbs were gone; coincidence? 90000kms of daylight running did for them. Good to know I have at least LED rear lights and brake lights.
