telephone keypad on nissan connect

When making a bluetooth call using nissan connect. If the message asks me to press '1' for sales etc. There is no option to get the keypad back up, so I have to resort to using the phone. The keypad is available as an option when I place the call, but not during the call.

Am I missing something? or is this the way it works? Phone is Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

I'm assuming your parked up somewhere & not driving whilst your trying doing this?

yep, parked up. It did cross my mind that it was deliberate for the reasons you suggest, but if that was the case, why allow keypad input to place a call and then remove the keypad during the call.

If that's the way it's designed, fine. Just wondered if I was missing something?
