usb stick

Hello all,Ive transfered some music onto a stick when i put it in the usb slot in the car it says no audio files or something like that,Ive used the search but cant find what i need,it works on my lap top,Has anyone any ideas what i need to do to get it to work

its formatted to FAT32, just been out to car when i out it in it says usb detected please wait then come s up no audio files, it plays on my computer ok

Don't music files need to be MP3 or FLAC instead of MP4

thanks for all your help, they were MP4 files so converted them to MP3 and all is good, thanks again for you help
