Gel, because I am a Brit - no only Joking. I believe this is an Extension from the Dealer (good will gesture) although the Paperwork is an official Nissan 5* Document. It just states a 12 month Extension starting on the 07/08/2017 for 1 year at no cost, max 100,000Kms and obviously I am not arguing, in fact I am pretty happy.
I have shown our Dealer the Roof Rail Caps again today with a Photo Document, so I will see what happens at the next Correction Service for the Electronics also with Photos - Dave :)

Just an update and I am not a Happy Sailor  . Our QQ went in last Friday to correct the problems mentioned above, what was carried out was a Radio System Update #502 (a Customer Pulsar was supplied FOC). On saturday I thought I would check things out : Navi was in German Language as usual but in Yards ! - was corrected, all DAB pre-set stations had gone and the Bluetooth System did not function at all.
Today the whole System again shut down after a few minutes and did not start up again after parking which it normally does. I contacted our Dealer and got a call from the Service Mgr. I explained the problem and told him politely I have no more trust in this System, he then asked me to send the facts by email (photos which I always take & comments) and when I asked why, he said he was going to order a complete New Nissan Connect System - so let's see what happens next Dave ;)

There must be something in the water just now, as I too have just encountered an anomaly with my Connect head unit.
Up to now the only problem I'd had was 'dropout' of the DAB channels in built up areas and in low areas between hills. That was rectified 2 years ago at its 1st service by a software update. No problems at all since, until yesterday.
Made a short journey, calling ahead to advise of arrival. Phone dialled and connected via Bluetooth...job done. Did an iphone siri search for some info whilst driving, recieving the required info. Arrived at destination, parked up and switched ignition off. Waited for a passenger to join me. Turned ignition back on and tried to make a call, but the phone wouldnt connect with Bluetooth. Tried several times with no success, then noticed that the Bluetooth logo was missing from the Connect display. Tried to reconnect via settings with no joy. My phone recognised the car, but the car would not recognise the phone, hence no connection. I tried deleting the Bluetooth settings between the car and the phone, then tried setting up a new connection, but still nothing was happening. Getting frustrated I decided to wipe the settings on the Connect unit and revert to factory settings then start from scratch. This didnt work either. Just about to give up but decided the only thing I hadn't done yet was to wipe the Connect settings back to factory settings AND delete the Bluetooth settings on my iphone, then start the connection process all over again. For some reason this worked. This left me thinking it may have been a problem with my phone, however on trying another phone (prior to deleting/wiping the connection status) we encounterd the same problem.....no phones would connect. Subsequently, other previously connected phones have had to be deleted and re initiated for connection.
No other faults manifested, other than the battery voltage dropped by around 2v for the duration of the problem, but the voltage is now back to its normal state, without having been charged on a long run. Strange....the voltage has just gone back to normal after only a few short miles.
Just to add....after reverting back to factory settings, I now have to re programme my radio presets, along with satnav 'home' and previous destinations andcalso all satnav settings re alerts etc. Bit of a ball ache, but at least im back to normal for the time being. Im now wondering though if this is the beginning of the end for my 'up to now' faultless FIAAM battery! I hope not, but if issues start to occur more frequently, then at least I know how to approach my dealer.

gvmdaddy, this is getting interesting and we have had a new battery installed and are still experiencing the problems. I did also suggest today contacting a Nissan Tech Specialist to take a look, but firstly they want to install a new Connect System. This sort of defect can be a real pain especially when it turns up on a daily basis - Dave :)

gvmdaddy, and others naturally ! So Monday and Tuesday again the fault appeared and Shut Down but did not reset after stopping and restart. Phoned our Dealer and he asked for the photos and my comments and sent them to Nissan. Nissan wanted the Dealer to restart the System before they forked out on a new System - understandable it does cost. Today I was there for 2 hours, Battery disconnected, Connect restarted, Navi, Radio etc checked all worked. Finally Bluetooth was reset by the Dealer (I told them I want a QQ that works) through You+Nissan etc.... so all that is not working now is the Apps (Facebook, Google, Twitter etc) which they told me to check out tomorrow. I will give it a check till next week and then return to the Dealer with the "Good" or "Bad" News as they saw the steaming coming from my ears today  - Hope this is not too boring Dave ;)

Well a week has gone by and the System is still working and we have not had a fault for 7 days. I even stuck it through the Auto Wash today and it is still working. All that is left to do is the re-registering on You+Nissan for the Apps as we have received an email for this, but that is not a major concern at present - Looking positive at present Dave :)

Lost Bluetooth connectivity for second time yesterday, out for 20 mins then it suddenly came back on. Still on original battery and it charges and holds a charge as it should. No other problems. Just going to keep an eye on things for now. Cheers for the update DaveBerlin, glad you've got sorted, even though it is a pain in the butt.

BLUETOOTH SOUND ODDITY:

I recently had odd Bluetooth issue with my Android phone; though I could see MP3 track data on the CONNECT
screen there was no sound :(
Deleted connection, re made new; no improvement.
Radio/ CD all ok.
I eventually d/loaded a Bluetooth App from Google Play store; connecting via that, instead of native
Android app: that fixed it.
However, reverting to Android app B/T connectivity found that worked as well.

I thought drop outs on DB radio were common/normal? (I had them occasionally on my previous Citroen and get them on my QQ on dips and some areas)

Speaking of DAB radio (mine drops out in areas all over North Wales and Shropshire), I wonder whether it will be possible to buy the shark fin antenna from the J11a as a spare, once the car comes on sale? Presumably it's DAB-capable.
