Couldn't play music from phone over Bluetooth: :|

Trying to play some music on my phone, my Connect unit showed this when I pressed the Aux Button;
just couldn't clear screen for a couple of journeys.
The phone part of Connect was fine.
When I got home I tried again and eventually got the player to connect with my Android.

Anyone else had this, or have a quick fix to clear. :?:

Not seen this on my car. Although the background suggest you have an ipod connected, not an Android.

On my car , I activate my bluetooth before I enter the car - The car is already set to connect to the phone.
I start the car and I get a successful pairing between the car and phone.
But no music.
I press the AUX button , but that just tells me I can use the USB.

I press the play button - still no music.

No matter what I do , I can only get music out of the phone , not the car.
Even turning the car off and locking it and going through the entry process again does not fix it , nor does re- pairing the phone.
This can last for a few days , then clears.
When looking at the picture , which is virtually a blank screen , I am getting the problem
However when all is well , I can see track and album info

Not bad for a 1 month old car !

To try and answer the original question , I can see the following.

The phone is connected via bluetooth
The phone cable is connected to the USB port - hence the display is showing an I pod.

I found that this creates a conflict , and either music will not play - or you cannot make a call.

My solution , having experienced this was to bluetooth the phone to the car for phone calls and music , but charge the phone via the 12v outlet in the arm rest area.

Not had a problem since.
