Jeffers is correct, and it is radio volume independent, mine's set to 12 which I find OK. As an aside the maps show a shell station which changed brand at least 5 years ago so does the latest Garmin update (August) so perhaps we shouldn't knock Nissan mapping. Just DON'T follow it if you tow a caravan!!

I too had the problem of low volume on SatNav. As I couldn't figure out how to improve it, I looked in the manual. Sure enough, in Troubleshooting, it said 'Voice Notification Too Soft or Too Loud'. The solution they give? 'Increase or decrease the volume' - without telling you how to do it! Who pays these people?

Simply turn the radio volume switch up as I found out myself, as said whilst the sat nab is talking. You have to be quick.
