A little trick I use occasionally to identify a wire without cutting it is to stick a small pin or sewing needle through the insulation and connect to that as a test, it causes only minimal damage to the insulation.

Yes thought of that, but was hoping someone knew which was which. If all else fails then it will have to be out with the pins!

Just an educated guess but I suspect it will be the grey. White tends to be ground in my experience.

It'll be out with the sewing needle for me since both black and green are common colours for ground (though black seems most likely to be ground judging by other circuitry). Thanks for confusing us all, Nissan. :x

Question for ChrisDK - while you had the module only partly installed for a few days (the wires to the turn signals weren't connected), did your DRLs continue to work as normal?

And for Duncho - how are things going with your car?

Well here is a puzzle?
Wired up so DRL goes off.
Connected module as per drawings etc , connected into indicator light wire.
BUT and I don't know what the problem is.
Indicate left, indicators work but the right DRL goes out and vice versa.
So thought got the grey wires wrong way round so change them over, and still the same???
Duncho any ideas?

Or whilst holding your test probe against the blade of a stanley knife press the wire onto the blade so the blade cuts through the insulation down to the wire. Again only leaving a slice which if it's the wrong wire won't leave it noticeable or exposed.
