Flicking through settings at the weekend I spotted the nav software version on the card supplied to me at the dealer when we purchased our car second hand would indicate it's from 2013. The car is on a 65 plate. Can someone advise me if the dealer has tried to pull a fast one, I mean made a genuine mistake and the lucky dip from where they store all the cards threw out the wrong one for my car :?

Regrettably that would be the case, as Nissan issue the HERE maps years behind.
Nissan & HERE blame each other for the lethargic speed.
Black_Rojer a member here sells current genuine Nissan maps far cheaper than dealers.
Latest SD Card for J11 QQ's as below.

That's the card (in first post - 25920 4EA0C) that would have come with the 65 reg car. My 15 plate has the same. A new one is due but as Gel says, Black Rojer is the go-to guy for maps.

Ah that's good to hear, thanks Hound. So it looks like the dealer did give me the card which it should have. I noticed whilst shopping around that all car sales places seemed to remove them in fear of them being stolen.

The card that Gel has shown is the one we now have in our 14 QQ it was installed this week. Normally you will find that all New Nissan's have a Red "Sticker" over the SD Card Slot which is empty until the car is bought, I would think to prevent "Light Fingers" removing them. I have had two Nissan Demo Cars over the last week both with "Stickers" - Dave ;)

One member had his car damaged in break in and sole item stolen was the SD Card; the insurers were happy to pay for mechanical rectification but being very iffy about paying for the card.

The reason we bought a New SD Card was because this month on a 300Km trip to the North of Germany the Navi sent us off an Autobahn onto minor roads twice. It was then that I saw new roads that were not on the old card. The missus has so much trust in the Navi that we are going back to basics as a Back Up, a good old €10 Paper Map, but for the wife to use - Dave :)

And the bad news is :- I also have the latest update and the Kingsteignton bypass which was opened last December is still not on there , Queue lots of confused Nissan owners travelling through the fields on their way to the English Riviera , Torquay . Paignton etc for their Summer Holidays. I must admit I was quite shocked to find they are still out of date from new , back to the TomTom. Very disappointing Nissan , after an 18 month wait
