Would be interesting to know when QQ out of warranty period, if it's viable to drain the new troublesome refrigerant gas, and refill with the safe/ more widely available/ cheaper to replace with old.
As the new gas is more leaky one assumes older would present no problem in that respect?

2014-19 J11A-14 1.5dci Ink Blue Tekna owner; now departed for a Mazda CX-5 GT Sport Nav, 2.0L Petrol
I wonder if the new supply of condensors will be used to replace existing owners who have issues, or go to new builds first?
Vested interest as we have a QQ on order for delivery around end Sept

I suppose the question of re-filling a QQ System with R123a is whether the modified new designed system for the R1234yf will accept, operate with the old gas or is even feasible - who knows ! - Dave

Hope nobody here has a Air con condensor problem.
I purchased a 2015 1.6 Accenta Premium in April but two months later the air con packed in so in late June I booked it in at Nissan Dealership to be repaired under warranty. When I collected it the next day I was told they could even test it because they, and all the other dealers, were waiting for an adaptor to connect the test equipment to the car. (it's not like it's a brand new model & surely all dealerships should have all the specialised tools)
Anyway, a couple of weeks later the dealer rang to say they'd recieved the adapter, so I took it back in and because I was on holiday, left it with them for a few days. I got the call to pick up the car beacause they'd found the fault to be the condensor, BUT, the condensors are on back order. In fact there are 900 on back order. Obviously I'd been in contact with Nissan UK previously and the "case manager" confirmed that 900 where on back order and they didn't know when they'd recieve them because the condensor manufacturer had shut down for a month's annual leave.
Ultimately, here I am still driving around in a mobile greenhouse, it's now the end of August, and still no news.
Beware people, if you need any parts for your Nissan, don't expect any sense of urgency from the manufacturer. - Mick

Phone call this morning from the dealership (Toomey Southend) to say my parts arrived today (no warning!!). Earliest they can fit me in is Weds 7th Sept. I've updated my 'register' with the events over the past 3 months and await my conversation with NCS about their 5th Sept deadline they gave me.
You just know they will blame the dealership now -
