Much the same way as noise cancelling headphones I presume.duncho wrote:The problem in general is in handsfree system design, not microphone. Proper handsfree systems use 2 microphones. One captures a voice of calling person and the other noise in car interior. The one which captures interior noise is mixed with the other (voice mic), but with signal phase turned 180' which causes the noise being "erased".
Hands free microphone quality
Our microphone also giving unsatisfying sound in the ear of receiver. Qashqai Tekna. 2017. Possible to make some simpel technical changes ourselves, to get a better result when using the handsfree ?
The Qashqai is fine. A fault did develop in my long gone Q7 microphone though, very similar to that described. An independent garage had a look and found a loose connection either at the back of one of the mics or within a few inches of it.
