AGM would be better as they are more rigid and last more than EFB, but the only issue is that they require slightly higher voltage in order to be fully charged. That is why AGM is not the best candidate to use in QQ. It doesn't matter that AGMs are designed for recuperative charging, they won't be just charged this way and thus not utilizing one of their main features and benefits.
AGMs are more expensive and if you think to buy cheaper AGM, I would buy proper (more expensive) EFB instead (e.g. Moll 82070).

We have the same FIAMM battery for all Singapore Qashqai What are brands of batteries do UK Qashqai comes with from Nissan UK ??
Hi Richard, in rest of the EU, QQ is fitted with exactly the same batteries as in Singapore. If happens that FIAMM failed, Nissan replace them by the ones with Nissan reference number: KE241-70E00EF (12V / 70Ah / 720A).

Hi sat here waiting for RAC second day in a row. Seem to have same problem. Flat battery and clicking relay in black box behind nearside headlight. Only got car Friday and waiting for dealership to ring me back. Hope it is just the battery.

Update: dealer sent guy out with new battery but on checking with a meter found something was drawing power so car returned to dealer to check. Next day ordered replacement power management module but after fitting now says that there seems to be a problem with CVT gearbox. Looking to get a replacement box now lossing faith in this car a thinking of requesting a refund. Terrible start to QQ ownership, like the car would look for another.

The Battery let me down yet again. This time 75 miles from home and a week after a Major Service, so I have changed the Battery at my own expense.
The replacement. Nissan Part No KE241-70E00EF. was fitted by the dealer and cost me £59.
Nissan Customer Service would not agree to change the battery under warranty.

As I have mentioned elsewhere I cleaned the QQ and under the Bonnet Area also, it appears someone else did not fancy the Renault / Nissan Battery but they left their trademark looking like a McDonalds table. Lucky the electrics seem OK at present - Dave

the battery in the 2nd picture KE241-70E00EF (12V / 70Ah / 720A). is what Nissan have put on my car and it seems at least at the moment to be better. I have kept an eye on the voltage and as yet has not dropped below 12. 5 volts but it is new so time will tell.
