so then you probably have to measure all of the possible problems, i did and then worked fine.

connection where all possibly could be problem:

between source 12V and SS chip pin ( red )

between SS chip black and joint where i did the connection to black cable <=> connection between joint and SS connector <=> connection between SS chip black and SS connector black.

between SS chip white/blue <=> joint <=> SS connector red

I used the stripping connector as someone suggested, as i did not had any factory made joint where i can secrertly connect to cabling.

for the 12V source, i used as well something like this - http://www.aliexpress.com/item/20pieces ... b09287e962 but cheaper and smaller one

just found something similar as stripping connector, looks like possible alternative http://www.aliexpress.com/item/10pcs-lo ... 211cb3a5e6

try to measure connection and you will see where could be the problem and if all connections are ok, why the hell did you not disconnected the SS chip, when you have flashin dash? O,o

The connection between the 12v and the red wire is soldered and the other connections I have made using the same connectors as you have shown, So I cant see any connection problems. Dan seems to think that it is the battery that is low, But I cant see that as I hardly had the ignition on while I was carrying out the work and the day before I took the car out for a long run. Its all a mystery to me.
I have now disconnected the modul and will run it tomorrow to see if the faults clear. If it doesn't clear then I'm buggered, I cant see it clearing. Past experience tells me they have to be removed. We shall see.

Edd,
Logically there is no way that the error would be caused by the module as the only think that module is literally doing is "pressing the button". It is just a coincidence and as per previous experience and feedback from other users, this error is caused by low battery voltage.
Did you try to charge the battery?

No but I will put it on charge overnight. I thought perhaps the car had felt that the electrics had been tampered with and then showed a fault.

Impossible, all modules are exactly 100% the same and there is already about 50 people using it including me. I have it installed about 6 months now. If you connected it as shown on the photos uploaded by me or frost.silinec then no worries, it is just coincidence. I believe it is just low battery voltage.

I would be happy if Singaporean QQ owners write their feedback here on the forum. I will check with Richard who organised everything in regards to group purchase ;)
Hey Duncho,

Just installed 6 units of the SS module 5 hrs ago and they work wonderfully with memory on or off stopstart !!!!

Think the attachment speaks for the satisfied users and no further comments needed. Btw, shiok means great ...thisnis Singlish ..haha.

Thanks again for the help and unique solution rendered and of course, I also have the only qashqai in Singapore to have the DRL module oreli working !!!

Cheers and much appreciated.

Richard

Hi I also don't like the stop/start on my new 2016 Nissan. Have disconnected the bonnet sensor and repositioned it. The problem is the door not closed alarmed sounds and sometimes the full alarm goes off. Have had to put back the bonnet sensor to original position and now all is well.ie. no alarms but still got the dratted stop start.

There are not many options. Or you disable S/S each time you sit in the car, install something in the car, which will simulate pressing S/S button on each engine start for you, or Nissan releases a patch, which will allow disabling S/S pernamently (highly unlikely to happen)
