HELP ! can this b repaired

Hi all I am sitting here trying to b very calm my husband has just come home after driving my car for the first time and very sheepish told me he has caught the alloy wheel on the curb something I told him time and time again before I even let him drive it thiz is something u have to b careful of there is a good sized bit of shatp metel sticking out I dont know if u can c in the pic but was wondering if this could b repaired and if anyone had any idea how much im looking at or any idea the best place to get it done

Ouch i feel for you, must admit that was one reason for opting for the acenta premium. To answer your question, Yes that can be repaired. There are loads of companies out there that specialise just google 'alloy wheel repair'. As for cost no idea but i have seen similar threads on other car forums and price averages seem to be in the region of £60- £150 depending on type of alloy and extent of damage. Best thing would be to phone a few up and get quotes etc.

Hi bev, I've used Wicked Wheels before they come to your house and do the repair there.Was very pleased with them. Hope this helps.

and then get some Alloygators fitted to stop happening again- I fitted at outset.

Lol getting a new husband did cross my mind I must say he was cacking his pants having to tell me lol
I have searched for places in norwich that fit the alloygators but cant seem to find any am I right in thinking that nissan them selves have something similar that they can fit

Get your husband to fit them I've just fitted a set to mine took a couple of hours, cost £60 direct from alloygators

Hes not good at stuff like that would rather pay for someone to do it

hi bev. just read your texts , my local Nissan garage has just invested in a diamond wheel cutter for this type of repair. they take the tyre off. fit the wheel to a machine , then recut the ally. into the spray shop , re- lacquered. this can be done a max of 5 times. its about £90 a go. not cheap.
