Ouch Bev, feel the pain.as most have already said yes it can be repaired but it will more likely be sent off for repair with it being a diamond cut wheel

Been on line found a couple of places I will go and get a quote from them
And c if I can find some where that will fit alloygators for me

Gel, thanks for the information on the YouTube video it was a good find, it has now made it clearer to me the definition of "Diamond Cut Wheels". I actually thought it was just the terminology of the wheel surface finish not the actual CNC Machining Technique used - Dave

I have looked further to fully understand this process and this is basically it :


Diamond Cutting involves removing a micro thin layer of Alloy from the Wheel using specialist Lathing Equipment (CNC). Diamond cut wheels can only be refurbished a number of times as too much Alloy material would eventually be removed.

Some insurers offer add on policy to cover alloy wheel protection; but they exclude diamond cut ones
